Official Book Blurb of “The Jane Austen Society”

Set just after World War II in the small English village of Chawton, a unique group of people unite to accomplish something extraordinary. Chawton, the last home of Jane Austen, is now home to a few of her distant relatives and their shrinking estate. As the last remnants of Austen’s legacy face threats, these diverse individuals—a laborer, a young widow, the local doctor, a movie star, and others—come together to preserve her home and legacy. They may be vastly different, but their love for Austen’s works binds them. Each character is quietly battling their own struggles, some from the recent war and others from past hardships. Together, they form the Jane Austen Society.

Audiobook Narrated by Actor Richard Armitage

The audiobook is narrated by the well-known British actor Richard Armitage, famous for roles in “North and South,” “The Hobbit,” “Ocean’s 8,” “Robin Hood,” and more.
