Kevin plans a romantic picnic at his sister Jess\u2019s new bed and breakfast, intending to propose there. Despite his sister Jess\u2019s efforts to keep everyone updated via group texts, his initial attempts get thwarted. Spilled glasses and kitchen disasters delay his perfect proposal, but Kevin realizes that perfection isn\u2019t the goal \u2014 sincerity is.<\/p>\n
On their way home, a flat tire interrupts their journey. Sarah points out the beautiful scene around them, and Kevin, amidst fixing the flat, sees Sarah against a stunning sky. He walks over, takes her hand, and, in the moment’s spontaneity, decides it\u2019s the right time. He tells Sarah he loves her and, with heartfelt sincerity, kneels and asks, \u201cWill you marry me?\u201d<\/p>\n
Tears in her eyes, Sarah responds emotionally, \u201cKevin O\u2019Brien, I love you.\u201d They kiss, and embracing each other, their joy is apparent. Sarah humorously reminds Kevin he\u2019s supposed to say \u201cI love you\u201d back, and he promises to love her forever. She joyfully says \u201cYes,\u201d and they share another kiss as Kevin slips the ring on her finger, marking the beginning of their happily ever after.<\/p>\n
