We all know what writer\u2019s block is like. You sit down with your pen and paper ready, but your mind just goes blank. It’s like a red brick wall is blocking all your thoughts. You feel the ideas pushing up against that wall, but they just can’t break through. It’s incredibly frustrating.<\/p>\n

On a similar note, I’d like to discuss something less talked about: reader\u2019s block. This is when an avid reader can\u2019t seem to find joy in any book. Has this ever happened to you? You’ve tried everything\u2014recommendations from friends, booklists, re-reading old favorites, picking up books you’d usually love\u2014but nothing works. Books, which were once your best friends, now feel like adversaries. Instead of your mind being blocked from getting ideas out, it\u2019s now blocked from letting words in. What do you do about it?<\/p>\n

Honestly, I don’t have a solution. I’m dealing with reader\u2019s block myself right now. The last time this happened, I just had to wait it out. Does anyone have any good tips?
